Rangers arrest 3 target killers in Karachi
KARACHI: Rangers during search operation in various areas apprehending three alleged target killers and handed over to police. Meanwhile, police also carried out search operation in various areas of the metropolis arresting six suspects and recovered weapons from their possession.
According to the sources, Rangers had detained three suspects, identified as Aslam Ajwa, Fahad Iqbal alias pathan and Aamir Barham, from Kharadar, Lyari and Chakiwara during the search operation few days ago which have been handed over to relevant police stations.
Sources also said that 1 Kalashnikov, 3 TT pistol, 1 9mm rifle, 1 sword, bullets and 25 Kg drugs were also recovered from the arrested suspect Fahad Iqbal alias Pathan. The suspect is said to be a younger brother of Faisal Pathan, an accused involved in Lyari gang war.
Meanwhile, police carried out search operation in North Nazimabad arresting four suspects and recovering weapons, drugs and two stolen cars from their possession.
SSP Central Asim Qaim Khani said that arrested accused were involved in arson, dacoity and drugs dealing.
According to SSP Marlir Rao Anwar, two people, allegedly involved in street crimes, were also arrested from Sharafi Goth area.
