No such plan in the offing: Punjab govt
LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government in Punjab has rejected a demand by the Unification Bloc to dissolve the provincial assembly to hinder the ruling Pakistan People’s Party’s victory in the upcoming Senate elections. A spokesman of the Punjab government has made it clear that no such suggestion was under consideration. The provincial assembly will not be dissolved, he said, adding that the PML-N leadership has rejected the Unification Bloc’s demand. inp
