Bukhari’s nomination as NAB chief challenged

LAHORE: Admiral (Retd) Fasih Bukhari’s nomination as National Accountability Board’s (NAB) chairman has been challenged in Lahore High Court, Geo News reported Thursday.

The filer of the plea Advocate Iqbal Jaafri’s stance in the court was that Bukhari does not qualify to run the top NAB office for he faces some serious allegations.

He entreated with the honourable court to step in and bar his appointment saying many a law has been flouted to install him in the said office, which should not escape court’s notice.
