Punjab seeks extension in local body elections
LAHORE: The Punjab government has requested the Election Commission to give them a six months extension to hold local body elections in the province, Geo News reported.
Speaking to the media provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah said the main reason for the extension was the government wanting to wait for the new election list and that two other provinces had refused to conduct polls.
