Tussle between PML-N and MQM in NA
ISLAMABAD: Members of the PML-N and MQM came face to face and chanted slogans against each other in the National Assembly on Thursday, Geo News reported.
The incident took place when opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar criticised the MQM during his address. Abid Sher Ali from the PNL-N and Sajid Ahmed from the MQM approached each other angrily but other members intervened. During this time both parties continued to exchange allegations.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani also spoke on the floor of the National Assembly and said that for the first time all members were provided a development fund. Parliamentary secretaries told the National Assembly that roads linking Gwadar to the rest of the country will be ready by 2014.
