ANP to keep its Sindh offices closed for 3 days
KARACHI: Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh has announced that its offices will be kept closed across the province for three days in view of what it said 'threats of attacks on them including its leadership', Geo News reported Thursday.
"All the ANP offices will remain closed for three days while the party elections have also been postponed in view of intelligence agencies' alert against threats of attacks," the spokesman of ANP said in a statement issued here today.
He said Interior Minister Rehman Malik in a phone call to ANP central information secretary Zahid Khan informed that intelligence agencies' reports have pointed to imminent terrorists' attacks on ANP's leadership as well as its offices.
The spokesman said the ANP office bearers and workers have been issued strict warning not to move in open or at party offices.
