Czech Republic announces Rs 14m for flood victims in Sindh

LAHORE: The Czech Republic announced Rs 14.162 million financial aid for the flood-hit Sindh province on Thursday. The announcement was made by the country’s foreign minister, Karel Schwartzenberg, in a press release. The Czech government will provide the emergency humanitarian aid through humanitarian partners in Sindh, the release said. The aid comprises shelters (tents, blankets, tools, hygienic, kitchen and winter kits). The Czech government had earlier this year granted Rs 31.156 million aid. The latest grant takes the total aid by the country to Rs 45.318 million. pr
