Nation facing immense challenges: PAF Chief
ABBOTABAD: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief, Air Chief Marshall Rao Qamar Suleman has said that the nation was facing immense internal and external challenges and the armed forces would fulfill the responsibility of safeguarding its principle, freedom and way of life.
Addressing the long course passing out parade at the Kakul Academy, Air Chief Marshall said that technology had become a decisive factor in new era war and this had brought a change in the ideologies and doctrine.
He said the armed forces had given exemplary sacrifices in bravely meeting the challenges which the nation faced and, “We are defending with full force and resolve our sovereignty and national interest."
Later, the Air Chief Marshall distributed awards among the cadets who excelled. Honorary Sword was secured by senior under-officer Rafay Tasawwar and the Presidential Gold Medal by senior under-officer Omar Nasir. Army Chief’s Overseas Gold Medal was given to Abdul Latif Al Dosari.
