Nusrat Bhutto to be buried in Garhi Khuda Baksh
ISLAMABAD: Begum Nusrat Bhutto, former first lady and mother of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Murtaza Bhutto, Shahnawaz Bhutto and Sanam Bhutto, will be buried in the ancestral graveyard of Bhuttos in Garhi Khuda Baksh with deep scars on her body and soul of relentless fight against military dictatorship, Presidential Spokesperson Farhatullah Babar said.Her only surviving child Sanam Bhutto and grandchildren Bilawal, Bakhtawar and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, presently in the UK, are expected to arrive in Dubai later Sunday to accompany the body on its long journey to its final resting place, he said.
President Zardari is already in Dubai. Begum Bhutto died in hospital Sunday afternoon after protracted illness. In her tragic and eventful life, she witnessed and endured the assassination of her husband and three children but refused to compromise with dictatorship, Farhatullah Babar said.
