Boycott in KU over PhD degree conferment to Malik
KARACHI: The Teacher's Association at Karachi University has announced to boycott classes on October 26 during a meeting held to register protest against the conferment of PhD degree to the Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Geo News reported.During the meeting held yesterday, the Association also demanded that the conferment of the degree to the Interior Minister be withdrawn.
The Teachers Association condemning the degree conferment to Rehman Malik declared it as a political move by the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor
It agreed that the name of KU must not be used for fulfillment of political motives and for favoring the ministers.
