Three former MPAs join PML-N

LAHORE: Former members of the Punjab Assembly (MPAs), Mian Mumtaz Ahmad, Chaudhry Masood Ahmad from Rahim Yar Khan and Chaudhry Saeed Ahmad Gujjar from Sahiwal called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday and, expressing complete confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. Opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Senior Adviser Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa and Adviser Raja Ishfaq Sarwar were also present on the occasion.
The new entrants into PML-N said that Pakistan was facing serious threats and was beset with internal and external conspiracies. They said that Nawaz Sharif was the only leader who was capable of countering all problems and crises, therefore, everyone was looking towards him.
They said that the PML-N leadership was infused with the spirit of public service and was capable of putting Pakistan on the road to progress and development. staff report
