Shahbaz sees country turning into Al Tahrir Square
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif has said that persisting corruption, poverty and unemployment would turn this country into Al Tahrir Square, while the people would be picketing those stashing away looted wealth in Switzerland.
Addressing a meeting of the Dengue Emergency Committee here, Punjab CM, Shahbaz Sharif said that corruption could not be eradicated without the system of accountability and added, “Corruption is being promoted.”
Shahbaz said that the courts telling that their rulings were not being accepted and vowed that he would be talking about corruption not ones, but thousand times. He said that the people would be picketing those sending country’s looted wealth to Switzerland and the thieves and robbers would be dragged in the streets.
Punjab CM said he takes the taunts relating to Dengue an honour to him and declared he would continue doing whatever possible for saving the life of a Dengue patient. He said he has prepared a Dengue plan, which would soon be presented in the cabinet.
