Altaf lashes out at PML-N for undemocratic attitude
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain, has said that undemocratic attitude of the PML-N is aimed at stopping the wheel of democracy in the country. “MQM will protect democracy, and it will fight those who want to remove the government by adopting undemocratic methods.” he added. Altaf strongly condemned and denounced the use of derogatory and abusive language by the leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in a public meeting in Lahore. Addressing a workers convention of the MQM at Lal Qila Ground Azizabad via telephone on Saturday, he said, “Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, did not say anything of importance in the public meeting except for hurling abuses at President Asif Zardari”.
