Eyewitness identifies killer of Naimat Ali Randhawa

KARACHI: An eyewitness in Advocate Naimat Ali Randhawa murder case identified the killer during an identification parade at the judicial magistrate court on Saturday, Geo News reported.

According to the sources, the eyewitness identified accused Kazim Abbas Rizvi as the killer of Naimat Ali Randhawa during an identification parade.

Last week, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) had granted police 14 days physical remand of Kazim Abbas Rizvi.

During a news conference on Tuesday, Karachi police chief Shahid Hayat had revealed that Rizvi, who is said to be a worker of the MQM, was arrested for being involved in the murder.

He told that Randhawa’s killing was not sectarian but political and he was killed for pursuing the case of murdered Geo News reporter Wali Khan Babar.

Naimat Ali Randhawa a senior lawyer and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was murdered in the Nazimabad area of Karachi on September 26 when he was on his way home along with his son.
