Let them be happy on my resignation: Ghous Ali Shah
KARACHI: Former president of the ruling PML-N in Sindh, Syed Ghous Ali Shah wished his detractors good luck and happiness, while talking to media persons at the Karachi Press Club on Saturday. “Let them be happy. They might get a chance of becoming a provincial chief of the party, said Shah. It was his first appearance before the media after resigning from the office of the provincial head of the PML-N. Shah had resigned after being disappointed with his party leadership over nomination of Mamnoon Hussain for office of the president, instead of him. Dismissing rumours about a possibility of joining any other party, Shah said he would remain a worker of the PML-N, serving his people with sincerity. “I resigned because the party leadership did not accept my point of view regarding our defeat in Sindh,” he said. He wanted to take up the issue of rigging against PML-N leaders seriously, but to no avail. “I think party leadership was not satisfied with my performance, hence it was necessary to quit from party leadership,” said Shah. staff report
