JUI-F supports US, Taliban talks: Fazl
ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman Monday said Afghan President Hamid Karzai has assured him the release of all Pakistani prisoners in that country.
He was talking to media in Islamabad after his return from Afghanistan.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said his party supports talks between Afghan Taliban and the United States.
The JUI-F chief further said that he had not known under which agenda Afghan president had invited him to visit Kabul. He said that the Indian lobby had strengthened in Afghanistan after the fall of Taliban government.
Fazl further said that Pakistan failed to find space in Afghanistan even after rendering sacrifices in Jihad.
