Govt adds one more to Eid holidaysISLAMABAD: The government on Monday announced October 18 (Friday) also a public holiday in connection with Eidul Azha. Earlier, the Interior Ministry had announced three holidays from October 15 to 17 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). With the declaration of Friday a holiday, the government servants will now enjoy six holidays from Tuesday to Sunday. All the government departments, including banks and schools, will remain closed from 15th to 18th of this month. Following the announcement of holidays by the government, both public and private sector employees have started returning to their native towns and cities to celebrate Eidul Azha there. The government employees will now return to work on Monday, which means people having business in government offices will have to wait until the next week. app
