PM chairs high-level national security meeting
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting to deliberate on overall security situation in the country.
The meeting discussed matters pertaining to national security and reviewed the overall security situation of the country.
It also reviewed the prime minister’s visit to the United States.
Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan‚ Advisor to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz‚ Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani‚ Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi and Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaheerul Islam attended the meeting.
