Master Celeste and Phillips facilitate Sleep-Disordered Breathing Clinic
LAHORE: Master Celeste as part of its 50th Year Anniversary Celebrations and “A Better Sleep Initiate” has facilitated recently inaugurated Sleep-Disordered Breathing Clinic at Jinnah Hospital Pulmonology Department with bedding facility for patients of Apnea.
Inaugurated by the hospital’s Chief Executive Prof Dr Mehmood Shaukat, the department, in collaboration with Master Celeste and Phillips provides treatment for patients suffering from Apnea, a temporary cessation of breathing occurred during sleep.
Master Memory Pillow, a technology designed by NASA absorbs pressure and heat, conforming neck support for comfortable and sound sleep, thus, helping patients of Apnea to sleep well. Laying emphasis on the importance of sleep and the usefulness of the product, Prof Dr Mehmood Shaukat said the hospital would ensure upkeep and maintenance of the facility to provide patients with long term benefits.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Zafar Hussain Iqbal, head of Pulmonology Department said, “Most people having Apnea do not realise they suffer from this condition. It is the most common in people who are obese or have large neck or crowding of the upper airway. Jinnah Hospital is the first government hospital in Pakistan to introduce Sleep-Disordered Breathing Clinic, which would not have been possible without the joint collaboration of Master Celeste and Phillips.”
