PM Nawaz should play leading role in elimination of terrorism: Imran

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said Saturday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should play a leading role in the elimination of terrorism and success of the dialogue process.

Speaking to the media after meeting with the family of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister Israrullah Gandapur who was killed in a suicide bombing at his residence on the first day of Eidul Azha, Khan said that it was decided during the All Parties Conference (APC) that dialogue and not a military operation was the solution to the menace of terrorism.

Khan added that no political government had exercised the option of dialogue and if the present government had taken this step it should give it an opportunity to succeed.

According to the PTI chairman, those who wanted to see war in the country were calling those in favour of dialogue cowards.
