Pak army to continue quake-relief work despite attacks: ISPR
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army Sunday resolved to continue relief work in earthquake hit areas of Awaran and Mushkay in the province of Balochistan with full support of locals and civil administration.
ISPR sources said that relief operation by security forces will continue despite repeated firing and rocket attacks martyring six soldiers of the security forces by miscreants. Sources further said that security forces with utmost restraint and patience against all provocations are in the area only for relief operation.
ISPR spokesman appealed to the general public that they should not pay any attention to rumour mongering and propaganda campaign by miscreants who are asking locals to leave the area due to an impending operation by security forces. He said there is no truth in such disinformation.
