Rangers, police discuss strategy to recover illegal weapons
KARACHI: Following the expiry of deadline to submit illegal weapons, the operational committee of rangers and police Monday held a meeting to deliberate on devising a strategy to recover prohibited weapons.
The meeting was held at the Rangers Headquarters with the Director General Rangers Rizwan Akhtar in the chair. IG Sindh, Additional IG, Deputy DG Rangers and zonal DIGs also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the DG Rangers appreciated the role of rangers and police on the occasion of Eid ul Adha. The meeting also reviewed the ongoing joint targeted operation against the criminals in Karachi.
