PM Nawaz says he took up all issues at relevant forums
LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he has taken up all issues at relevant forums during his recent visit to the United States.
Addressing a news conference here on Thursday‚ the prime minister said that the United States should play its role for settlement of Kashmir dispute.
He said although India is against third party intervention‚ yet Pakistan does not see any harm in it for the resolution of this longstanding dispute.
Responding to a question‚ the Prime Minister said drone attacks are against the sovereignty of Pakistan and hoped this matter will be resolved soon.
Terming his talks with President Obama as positive‚ he said both the sides raised their reservations on different issues. He said the two countries agreed to work together to address these concerns.
Nawaz Sharif said his government has started several projects to overcome the energy crisis in the country.
He said the government would ensure transparency at all levels.
