Courts to decide Dr Afridi’s fate: FOISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office said on Friday that Dr Shakil Afridi had violated Pakistani laws and his fate would be decided by the courts.
The foreign office added that Dr Afridi should not be linked with Dr Aafia Siddiqui. Briefing the media, the spokesman for the Foreign Office Aizaz Chaudhry said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to the United States was successful and he raised the issue of drone strikes.
The spokesman added that Pakistan’s stance on improving relations with India was clear, adding that further evidence was required from New Delhi regarding the Mumbai attacks.
