Kashmiris observe black-day against Indian occupation
ISLAMABAD: Kashmiris across the world are observing black-day against Indian occupation, Geo News reported.
In Azad Kashmir rallies were taken out, while there was a strike observed in the occupied valley.
On October 27, 1947 India, in sheer violation of international laws, sent troops in Sri Nagar to occupy the region,
The then Indian government said that the army was sent on the demand of Dogra Maharaj Hari Singh and would be withdrawn after the normalcy backs to Kashmir. However, India never fulfilled the promise to pull out troops and its army continues to commit atrocities against Kashmiris.
Kashmiris are of the view that the black-day is not against the people of India instead it is against the atrocities and New Delhi’s refusal to give them right of self determination.
