SC issues verdict in NPF graft case
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) has directed authorities concerned to initiate criminal proceedings against Anjum Aqeel, former MNA of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in National Police Foundation (NPF) corruption case, Geo News reported.
The apex court on Thursday issued its verdict in NPF corruption case and declared that the agreement between the police foundation and Anjum Aqeel was based on corruption.
The court ordered Aqeel to pay the price of 126 canals and 88 plots of land. It further ordered to confiscate the property of former PML-N MNA if he did not pay.
