Army chief discusses security issues with Turkish minister
ANKARA – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday met Turkey’s Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioğlu and discussed issues of mutual interest, including regional security.According to tweets by Inter-Services Public Relations Director General Lt Gen Asim Bajwa, the army chief also visited Turkey’s war academy where he exchanged views with participants on “Pakistan’s successful experience of fighting terrorism”.
