Govt forms body to redress MQM's grievances

ISLAMABAD - The federal government has constituted and notified the Grievance Redressal Committee to redress the grievances of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and other political parties, person or entity.According to a statement, the constitution of the GRC was agreed upon between Senator Ishaq Dar on behalf of the government and Dr Farooq Sattar on behalf of MQM when they signed a memorandum of understating on October 9.
Both the parties had agreed to the formation of the committee within five days of the signing of the memorandum of understanding. The government has now notified GRC within the agreed time and the notification of the GRC has been issued.
