ATC indicts five in Model Town case
LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore indicted five accused including a former SHO in the Model Town tragedy case on Tuesday.
The five accused were presented in the special court today but they pleaded not guilty to the charges. The court has ordered the prosecutors to present their evidence in the next hearing.
Meanwhile, a plea has been filed in the Lahore High Court asking for the Model Town case report to be released for the public. The plea, filed by Abdullah Malik, requests the court to conduct hearings of the case at the earliest.
