Qaumi Watan Party joins PTI-led KP govt
PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) has joined PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government today (Tuesday) with two of its members taking oath as provincial ministers.
QWP lawmakers Sikander Sherpao and Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli took the oath as ministers at Governor House today.
Sherpao has been given the portfolio of Home and Irrigation while Anisa Zeb made minister for Mines.
It may be noted here that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf brought QWP in the coalition govt at the cost of Information Minister Mushtaq Ghani, who has been sacked.
