Government’s change but institutions remain: CEC
KARACHI: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (retd) Sardar Raza Khan said on Wednesday that government’s come and go but institutions remain.
Addressing a ceremony here, the CEC said no institution has to come under political pressure during the local bodies (LB) election.
Earlier, the CEC visited Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum and speaking to the media said people and political parties should support the Election Commission so LB elections can be transparent.Courtesy www.thenews.com.pk
