PIA flights face cancellation, delays during last 24 hours

KARACHI: Four Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights have been cancelled and as many delayed during the last 24 hours.

A spokesman for PIA said the flights were cancelled due to a low number of passengers who were switched to other flights. He added that the reason for the delays was re-carpeting at the Benazir Bhutto International airport in Islamabad and passengers had been informed in due-time.
