Nawaz, Kerry discuss security issues
WASHINGTON – A day before his meeting with US President Barack Obama, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stopped by the Blair House for a meeting with Secretary of State John Kerry, local media reported on Wednesday.
According to details, the prime minister – who is on a four-day visit to the United States – met John Kerry to discuss bilateral ties between the two countries and security situation in the region.
The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Senator Ishaq Dar, Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif, Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar, and advisers Sartaj Aziz and Tariq Fatemi.
