Imran Khan visits quake injured victims at Saidu Sharif Hospital

SAIDU SHARIF: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan visited the Saidu Sharif Hospital in Swat on Tuesday afternoon.

Khan met those wounded in the earth quake as well as inquired about their problems.

He also inspected the hospital premises and relief work in surrounding areas being carried out by the provincial government.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkwa, Pervaiz Khattak and Health Minister Shaukat Ali Yousafzai accompanied him.

Earlier today, the PTI chief visited the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) in Peshawar where he inquired about the health of the injured due to the quake.

Accompanied by CM KP and Special Assistant to the CM on Information and Higher Education, Mushtaq Ghani, Khan said he was well aware of the problems being faced by the victims and the KP government would not leave them alone in this hour of need and tribulations.

He said he would visit again soon to assess the devastation and damage to human and infrastructure.

The PTI chairman also urged people to avoid unnecessary visits to hospitals as it would affect the working of the doctors and para-medical staff.

Following Imran Khan’s visit to LRH, Reham Khan also visited the hospital to review arrangements and inquire about the health of the injured.
