NEPRA cuts power tariff by Rs 2.6 per unit

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Wednesday issued a notification for a decrease of Rs 2.60 per unit in power tariff. The decrease in tariff would result in Rs 15 billion relief for consumers in electricity bills for December. The decision for the tariff reduction, applicable to all power distribution companies in the country except K-Electric, was approved during a hearing on a plea for fuel adjustment.
