National security adviser calls on president
Mamnoon says operation against terrorists will continue till complete elimination of menace of terrorism
APPISLAMABAD - President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday said that the government was determined to fully implement the National Action Plan (NAP) and restore complete peace throughout the country.
In this regard, he said that the operation against terrorists will continue till complete elimination of the menace of terrorism. The president was talking to National Security Adviser Lieutenant General (retired) Nasser Khan Janjua, who called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. Matters pertaining to national security and the law and order situation prevailing in the country were discussed in the meeting.
The president felicitated Lieutenant General (retired) Nasser Khan Janjua on his appointment as national security adviser and wished him well in discharge of his responsibilities. Balochistan Chief Minister Adviser’s Jamal Shah Kakar and Member of Provincial Assembly Mir Abdul Kareem Nousherwani also separately called on the president here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday.
They briefed the president about the law and order situation in Balochistan and apprised him of the ongoing development schemes in the province.
