Another tranche of Pakistan Navy’s relief goods reaches Swat
Pakistan Navy establishes medical camp in villages, provides all necessary medical assistance to earthquake victims

ISLAMABAD - While pacing up its ongoing relief efforts for the earthquake affectees of Swat, Khyber Pakhtukhwa, another tranche of Pakistan Navy’s relief goods reached Swat on Saturday through two special sorties of Pakistan Navy Aircraft.
According to a Pakistan Navy spokesperson, seven tons of these relief goods including tents, blankets, medicines and dry ration will be distributed amongst the earthquake affectees. Pakistan Navy’s Forward Relief Response Centre, established and activated at Swat, continued with its relief efforts today and distributed relief goods amongst affectees of Swat’s adjoining areas Janikhel and Akhwan Killy.
Pakistan Navy Medical teams also established a medical camp in these villages and provided all necessary medical assistance and free medicines to the affectees. For better management of relief efforts and reaching out to the affectees in all possible manner, a close coordination is also being maintained with the district administration and National Disaster Management Authority.
