6,000 Pakistani stayed in KSA illegally after Umrah: report
LAHORE: Pakistan stood at first on the list of illegal over-stayers after performing the pilgrimage in last Umrah season 2016-2017, Arab News reported on Tuesday.
Arab News issued the top countries list of illegal overstayers, in which Pakistan stands at first with the total 6,905 out of 1,453,440 Umrah pilgrims.
Nigeria came second with 1,629 over-stayers followed by Egypt with 1,081.
Indonesia is placed fourth with 592 while the country had stood at second highest in 2015-2016 Umrah season. Sudan came fifth with 592 as well Indonesia.
