Pakistani artist all set to break record by making ‘pencil swing’

Asif is trying to get his name in the record book by using 26,370 pencils to construct a pencil swing

KARACHI: Pakistani artist Bilal Asif aims to break a Guinness World Record by making a swing entirely out of pencils.

Asif is trying to get his name in the record book by using 26,370 pencils to construct a pencil swing.

The Pakistani artist also shared a video on his Facebook page while working on his latest project.

In 2013, Asif broke the record of the tallest free-standing pencil tower in the Eisenhower Junior High School in Utah, United States.

It took three hours to make a pencil tower. It was nine feet and seven inches high, an inch higher than the previous record-holding tower.

Asif has a love for pencils and he started collecting colorful pencils at the age of ten. He was nineteen when he broke the record of the free-standing tower. He loves to make different things including jewelry and other stuff.
