Nawaz Sharif to chair PML-N’s meeting on Monday
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif has summoned the meeting of PML-N’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) on Monday to discuss future strategy.
The PML-N leadership termed arrest of its party president Shehbaz Sharif unacceptable.
According to the media reports, Hamza Shehbaz met Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Jati Umra today.
PML-N internal sources disclosed that Nawaz Sharif has decided to play an active role in the politics once again.
Meanwhile, the Opposition Leader in Punjab Hamza Shehbaz while addressing women convention in Lahore said that PML-N will nullify the fake mandate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf by sweeping upcoming by-polls.
Hamza said that Shehbaz Sharif was summoned in Saaf Pani Company case and when nothing was found against him in the case, he was arrested in Ashiana Housing Scheme case.
“After winning by-polls, PML-N will prove that countries are run through courage and vision, not through donations,” he added.
Earlier on October 5, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Shehbaz Sharif in Ashiana Housing Scheme case. The PML-N president was charged with awarding illegal contracts to his favorite ones.
