No need for APC on flood situation, says Nawaz
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that instead of holding an all-parties conference (APC) called by the prime minister, the government should focus on rehabilitating the flood victims. Talking to reporters after his visit to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where he inquired after those injured in the Karbala Gamay Shah terrorist attacks, Nawaz said that the government had not immediately taken steps due to which flood victims had to face great hardships. He called the announcement of an APC on floods by the prime minister a good development, but added that the flood victims did not have time for this and needed to be rehabilitated as soon as possible. app
