Funeral prayers of Shama Khalid perform in Abottabad
ABOTTABAD : Governor of Gilgit Baltistan Dr Shama Khalid’s funeral prayers were offered in Abottabad on Thursday.Chief Minister of GB Syed Mehdi Shah, President and Prime minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir, Federal Minister Arbab Jahangir and others also attended the funeral prayers.
Dr. Shama Khalid was the first lady Governor of the region and belonged to village Gorikot. She was suffering from cancer from the past many years, she passed away yesterday in Islamabad. Shama Khalid left three daughters and a son.
