Efforts on to plug breach in MS bund
THATTA : The plugging and repair work of breach in MS bund near Sujawal has been initiated here on Thursday.Heavy machinery and material has started reaching the site of breach. The breach occurred last month and it flooded large areas of Sujawal sub-division including Sujawal city, Jati town, numerous villages and over 300,000 acres of agricultural land.
The life is returning to normalcy in Sujawal and the resident has started arriving there. Electricity was restored on Thursday.
Some shops and markets also opened in the city. The road from Sujawal to Jati has also been restored. app
