PM exchanges Eid greetings with Chief Justice, Punjab CMLAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani telephoned Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and exchanged Eid greetings with him on Friday.
The prime minister also thanked the chief justice for providing the Supreme Court as an auditorium for a Supreme Court Bar Association function, which was addressed by the prime minister few days back.
The prime minister also exchanged Eid greetings with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thurdsay and extended his best wishes to him and his family. The two leaders also discussed matters of mutual interest. The services chief visited the Prime Minister’s House on Wednesday to exchange Eid greetings with the prime minister.
Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman General Kahlid Shamim Wyne, Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chief of Air Staff Air Commodore Rao Qamar and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir also visited the prime minister and exchanged Eid greetings with him. app
