Burni for SC to take notice of Mirza's statements
LONDON: Human Rights activist Ansar Burni has asked the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take notice of the statements of Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, Geo News reported Sunday.
Addressing a press conference here, Burni also expressed his surprise on Dr. Mirza's statements in which the latter expressed loyalty to the President Asif Ali Zardari.
"Remaining silent to the statements of Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza is not an option and the Supreme Court should take notice of the same," he stressed, adding these statements must be investigated in detail.
