PAF observes Martyrs’ DayISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Air Force on Wednesday observed September 7 as Martyrs’ Day at all PAF bases throughout the country. The day started with a special prayer and Quran khawani for the shuhada of 1965 and 1971 wars and for those who had died in action since creation of Pakistan. A simple but impressive ceremony was also held at the Air Headquarters, in which Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument and offered fateha. Principal staff officers of Air Headquarters and a large number of airmen and civilians attended the ceremony. app
