Five held in connection with Shahbaz Taseer kidnapping.
LAHORE: Five people have been taken into custody and are being interrogated in connection with the kidnapping of Shahbaz Taseer, the son of former Punjab governor Salman Taseer, Geo News reported.According to sources these individuals were taken into custody from the Gulberg -2 area of Lahore. The individuals are accused of conducting reconnaissance on Shahbaz Taseer. Sources add the investigation team has not been able to locate those behind the kidnapping.
Shahbaz Taseer was kidnapped from the Gulberg area of Lahore on August 26.
