Balance of power shifting towards East, says MushahidStaff Report
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League Secretary General, Mushahid Hussain Sayed has welcomed the peaceful rise of China as a plus point for the 21st century, which is an “Asian Century”, as the balance of economic and political power are shifting from the West to the East.
He made these remarks while addressing a conference jointly organised by the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), which was held in Nanning to coincide with the celebrations marking the 90th anniversary of the CPC. Mushahid, who is also the chairman of the Pakistan-China Institute, was elected chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Conference and in that capacity he helped in the writing of the Nanning Declaration. The secretary general praised the CPC for its great achievement.
