Flood affectees require immediate assistance: FO
ISLAMABAD: An emergency flood relief cell had been established at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the appeal of President Asif Zardari for international assistance, spokesperson for the ministry Tehmina Janjua said.Speaking to Geo News, Janjua said that flood affectees in Sindh required immediate assistance and several countries had promised to provide aid.
She added that cell would be tasked with monitoring the flood situation and coordinating international assistance.
