Investigation team formed to probe Karachi attack
KARACHI: Karachi Police Chief Saud Mirza has formed an investigation team to probe the suicide attack in the DHA area of the city, Geo News reported.
The team will include officials from the CIA, SIU and CID. According to sources, initial investigations reveal that the attacker was 20 years old and was riding in a white coloured pick-up truck.
Eight people were killed in the attack which targeted the residence of SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam in DHA Phase 8. Several vehicles were destroyed and homes in residential area were damaged.
